Our Story

Once upon a time...

...in a land (public park) far, far away (North Phoenix, AZ) a prince and a princess fell in love.

The King and Queen of McGrifflandia decided it was time that young Prince Benjamin (4 years old) partook of some learning. Couriers were dispatched to locate a suitable band of like-minded brethren with whom to partner on the endeavor. After considerable deliberation, the Roadrunner Homeschool Group was given the royal blessing. At their very first gathering in the year of our lord 2001, the young prince spotted Princess Kassidy of Walentinydale from across the park. He was immediately smitten with her flaxen hair and blatant disregard for remaining clothed. Their love blossomed and they were often seen frequenting Valentine's day dances, homeschool field trips and backyard playdates. But alas, cruel fate would soon intervene.

In 2009, Prince Benjamin was dispatched to the dungeon known as "Northwest Christian School". Gone were the carefree days of frolicking on the grassy field and dodging the occasional fire hose, replaced as it were with classrooms and desks and "structured learning". Princess Kassidy continued to grow and learn while quietly longing to be reunited with her long lost prince.

Then, in 2018, the stars aligned for the final chapter in our saga thus far. Princess Kassidy was summoned to McGrifflandia to provide temporary supervion of the younger princes. Upon her arrival, she was greeted by Prince Benjamin. The Prince had grown into a strapping young man and Princess Kassidy had become a buxom beauty in her own right. The memory of young love quickly matured into a passionate fire and after an appropriate courtship, Prince Benjamin bowed before the Princess and promised his eternal love in exchange for her hand in marriage.
